Active Bystander Training
Add this event to your calendar
This training session aims to empower you to challenge sexual and gender-based violence, harassment and harmful attitudes wherever you encounter them. You will explore myths and misconceptions about sexual and gender-based violence and learn how to respond if a friend discloses their experience to you. You will consider what it means to be an ‘active’ bystander and get the chance to apply your skills to everyday scenarios. The session ends by providing information about the support available through the Students’ Union, University and local and national organisations.
