Black History Month 2020
Add this event to your calendar
October marks the beginning of Black History Month, the annual celebration of the history, achievements and contributions of black people in the UK.
To celebrate, Queen Mary's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion team are calling for students and staff to recommend a favourite book by a Black author to feature in a ‘Book of a day’ series, and to share your favourite African and Caribbean recipes, dishes, or places to eat.
To get involved and share your favourites, please click here.
Your recommendations will be shared throughout October via the e-Bulletin and across social media. If you'd like to find out more about how to get involved in the celebrations, please contact email@example.com.
